When you make a mistake you apologise, you don't let that image circulate on social media building momentum. Utterly unprofessional.

Or you expect that people will be level headed and know that accidents happen. Someone uploaded the incorrect image file and you're out here looking for people to be disciplined and sacked. Thankfully that's not how the world works.

Likely a mistake, as you say, but it's not good for the image so hopefully they acknowledge it in some way as opposed to brushing it aside.
Either that, or double down and pay for a 'Congratulations Bulls' on the big screen in Pretoria this weekend! :P

There's been absolutely zero from mr about it for 3 days. So for all we know it was intended. I hope and expect it's an error. If so, apologise and move in. If not...

Who should they apologise to? You?
It was either a dumb decision or an accident, but who cares?

A Glasgow journalist has said that Munster Ruby apologised to Glasgow on the day of the match and explained the error to them & journalists.

On the bomb squad approach, it only works if there's no significant difference between the starters and the subs. No strategy that sees JOD play 50 minutes and Coombes 30 makes sense to me. If the policy is to be properly applied for Munster, then they should be telling the nominal starters to go hard for 30 minutes and then bring on the subs. At least then the better players are playing the majority of the game.

Big Gav is very good at driving over the line from close range.
In what was always going to be a close game, it is surprising that you don't use one of your best scoring players for as long as possible.
JOD has been fantastic but he's not in Gav's league in converting close in opportunities.
The man that never made a mistake, never did anything.
However I'd love to hear the rationale on Gavs lack of minutes

If it was a decision, it's idiotic.
If it was an accident, just nip in bud with a simple note in news section of site. It will be regurgitated as motivation, not just every time we play gla.

Given the unjust overlooking of many of our lads for the SA tour - I hope they will all get a well deserved rest- I just hope our early season doesn't get disrupted by call ups to the emerging Ireland tour - but you can see half a dozen being given the 'opportunity' to shine , with due notice being paid, of course, by AF.

Well the disappointment of Saturday has abated enough now for me to post rationally. Well done Glasgow, they came to Thom*ond and Munstered us. I don't think that has happened since Leicester in the last game in the old Thom*ond. I know we have lost other games there since but generally that is because we were awful or the opposition played their own game. This was a team utterly frustrating us with their relentlessness and hunger., Fair play.
In the end I think that we were too calm. Its good that we no longer make every single game the emotional centre of the world as that's just not sustainable, but I think we relied too ,much on "trusting the process" and at the pointy end of the season that alone is not enough, we needed to dial up the emotion one notch more. While its good that we no longer panic when things aren't going our way and that will stand to us I think we also didn't fear losing enough. I hope the pain of that is something that the squad can learn from and be able to draw on in the season's ahead.
Onwards and upwards.

Agree with this AFH. For what it's worth, I feel also that the team and squad were tired. They've been on quite the run since New Years Day in Galway, and they've had some difficult away matches especially in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Edinburgh. In recent matches a lot of the early year spark had gone, and in hindsight, I think we were running out of road.
Season 2016/17 was a bit similar - we went on a super run after the tragic passing of Axel. Our league semi-final win over Ospreys that season was very so-so, and we were well thumped by Scarlets in that (awful) final.
I ran into one of the coaching team on Sunday, offered my condolences, wished him and his family a good summer and asked him to keep up the good fight. Onward and upwards indeed.

JOD is no Coombes, but with all due respect to Fineen, the gap between him RG is far greater. It was a bit of a risk to leave one of them on the bench, but omitting both was a big mistake. That's one of the very few tactical errors that Wig and co. have made all season, and it's such a shame it came when it did.

While I agree with the difference between the starters and the bomb guys in your post, I had a distinct impression that RG and Gav were rather worn out and perhaps that's all they could give. I wonder was it an enforced mistake?
