Andrew Neil’s new “anti-woke” news channel, GB News, launched on 13 June.

It is the first major news channel to launch in the UK in 30 years and in a statement, Neil said the channel would “champion robust, balanced debate and a range of perspectives on the issues that affect everyone in the UK, not just those living in theLondonarea”.

However, Neil has claimed the channel “will not be shouty, angry television” and will comply with Ofcom impartiality regulations.

The channel will feature a number of well-known faces in its presenting line-up including Neil who will host a nightly news show containing “Wokewatch” and “Mediawatch” segments.

Here is the full list of presenters that have signed up so far.

Andrew Neil

Neil will serve as GB News’ chairman. He is also chairman of right-wing magazine The Spectator.

He worked for the BBC for 25 years, fronting various programmes includingSunday PoliticsandThis WeekonBBC OneandDaily Politics,Politics LiveandThe Andrew Neil ShowonBBC Two.

Neil is also former editor of The Sunday Times and was founding chairman of Sky TV when it launched in 1988 – the last major news channel to launch in the UK.

Dan Wooton

The formerSunexecutive editor and Talkradio presenter will bring showbiz and entertainment gossip and celebrity guests to his show which will also host“debate that embraces all voices and opinions across Britain”.

Wooton has also joined MailOnline, where he is writing a twice-weekly column.

Kirsty Gallacher

The former Sky Sports journalist, Soccer Aid front woman and model will co-anchor the channel’s breakfast show.

“The channel has an amazing energy and excitement and there’s a real spirit of innovation there. It’ll definitely look and feel different, I think,” she said.

Gloria De Piero

The former Labour MP who stepped down in 2019, is leaving her job at Murdoch’s Times Radio to join GB News. She also worked as political editor of GMTV before becoming an MP, and was said to be Tony Blair’s favourite reporter.

“My time as a constituency MP opened my eyes to the issues facing Britons today. I’m passionate about bringing their stories to life at GB News, making sure every community is heard and reflecting Britain as it really is through grassroots journalism,” she said.

Simon McCoy

The longtime BBC employee surprised many by quitting his job as host of Afternoon Live on BBC News.

McCoy previously worked for Sky News, and has become popular on social media in recent years for his dry quips about current affairs.

Alastair Stewart

Stewart spent 45 years as a news anchor for ITV and will join GB News to host a news and current affairs show on weekends.

“GB News is a unique opportunity to broaden the spectrum, challenge the groupthink and shift away from a predictable agenda in news and debate. I can’t wait to get stuck in and tackle issues that really matter to people across the United Kingdom,” he said.

Michelle Dewberry

Winner ofThe Apprenticein 2006 who stood for The Brexit Party in her hometown of Hull will anchor a weekday evening primetime show giving a voice to “working class communities.”

“I want to stop people being left behind,” she said. “We need a levelling up across the country – there’s more to the UK than London, and definitely more than two sides to every story. To me, that’s what GB News is all about.”

Colin Brazier

The Sky News journalist is leaving the broadcaster after 23 years to anchor a daytime news, interview and debate programme on GB News.

Brazier called GB News “an important punctuation mark in the evolving story of news broadcasting in Britain”.

Liam Halligan

Former Channel 4 News economics correspondent Liam Halligan will be the new channel’s economics and business editor and will co-host a daily lunchtime show.

Darren McCaffrey

Euronews political editor Darren McCaffrey will lead the political coverage.

“I know only too well that local voices are sometimes left out and GB News’ mission to change that is something I’m incredibly excited to be part of,” he said.

Nana Akua

Akua, who previously worked at the BBC, will host a primetime Friday and Saturday evening news and talk show. She has also made appearances as a panellist on Good Morning Britain and the Jeremy Vine Show.

Alex Phillips

A former Brexit Party MEP who hosts a twice-weekly show on Talkradio. Phillips will co-present a weekday afternoon programme on GB News.

Rosie Wright

Euronews breakfast anchor who has hostedGood Morning Europe, will join the breakfast presenting line-up.

Inaya Folarin Iman

The “free speech” campaigner and critic of “woke” identity politics will join the morning presenting team five days a week.

Andrew Doyle

Doyle is a writer and comedian who created the Titania McGrath satirical Twitter feed, and was part of the writing duo behind spoof politics reporter Jonathan Pie until 2019.

He will host a weekly show called Free Speech Nation billed as featuring a “variety of guests and a lively, light-hearted look at current affairs”.

Mercy Muroki

Muroki, the youngest member of the controversial governmentcommission which concluded that Britain is not “institutionally racist”, has signed up to present a show.

She writes for The Sun and The Times.

“We need to be much bolder in allowing sensible people to speak their minds without being ridiculed or shut down. I’m excited that GB News will be a welcoming place to challenge stereotypes in a non-judgemental way,” she said.

Neil Oliver

Oliver has hosted a number of BBC documentaries, including A History of Scotland, A History of Ancient Britain, A History of Celtic Britain, and Vikings.

He will present a weekly current affairs programme which will focus on “the people from all walks of life who make Britain great”.

Tom Harwood

The 24-year-old journalist rose to prominence as a student advocate for Brexit. He was the youngest person to ever appear on BBC Question Time, and is leaving a job at political gossip website Guido Fawkes to become political reporter.

Rebecca Hutson

Hutson is the former head of video at Reach – owner of The Mirror. She will become GB News’ head of digital, and also make on-air appearances.
