Surprisingly good for new to cruisers
"
We ate at Sindhu and the Beach House and the food at both were excellent and good value for money; at both restaurants our son ate off the main kids menu (sausages, chicken nuggets, fish fingers etc) and even at the more stuffy looking Sindhu, the waiters and other staff fussed over him and made him feel like he belonged which was good to see.), the food quality in the buffet was good and varied with the exception of the vegetarian options (the breakfasts were sensational and the kids tea was good for our son, although since it doesn't run at the same time as the main dinner offering we had to take him at the end of the kids tea time and then wait 10 minutes or so before we could get our food from the adult section), the pools were nice and the staff were mostly very friendly and attentive.

We booked this with 3 other couples 2 of these had not cruised before. We are aged between 38 and 49. The intention was a taster of cruising. The attraction was the overnight stay in Amsterdam. I had been on Ventura 10 years ago with my family and had a great time. The ship has held up well given its age. First opinion on boarding was pleasant and well organised. Staff at Southampton were

We were a bit afraid of traveling as we heard about the norovirus bug going on on Ventura on the previous trip before ours.We received an email from P&O advising us that boarding was running 4 hours behind so we needed to get to the terminal 4 hours after our original boarding time.As we do not live anywhere close to Southampton, we decided to leave early, and due to the fact we got to

Hey travel fam, Mahendra and Jayshree here spilling the tea on our recent P&O Ventura cruise from May 25th to June 1st, 2024! Buckle up for some laughs (and maybe a few groans).Embarkation Shenanigans: Let's just say "organised chaos" doesn't even begin to describe it. Thanks to a norovirus outbreak on the previous cruise, embarkation was a nightmare. We ended up losing a whole day thanks to

We felt we got everything we expected (and indeed, wanted). Embarkation and disembarkation was efficient. We had to wait for our room as they were doing a deep clean due to illness on board. P&O staff were doing a good job of maintaining hygiene standards throughout our week. Our cabin was spacious and we loved the layout and mirrors! The cabin bathroom is a bit tired. Shower cabin needed

No idea on diary requirements, even went to diatry meeting and was not informed that you could book gluten free 24 hours in advance, only found out after complaining in main dining area about lack of choice. Waterside very poor staff including helper when asked what else stated plenty and started pointing out vegan and vegetarian, food cross contamination gluten free cakes with none gluten free,

We booked two inside cabins for three adults on Ventura’s 13-day mid-April 2024 cruise from Southampton to the Canary Islands. The booking showed that the occupants of both cabins should embark at the same time. We completed all the online formalities including uploading our passport photos as requested, and did not select a set dining time as we knew there was freedom dining onboard. We had two

Early misgivings over what to expect from recent reviews were dismissed as soon as we got to the Mayflower Cruise Terminal, boarding was seamless, from check in to a glass in hand was just 20 minutes, Our Deluxe Cabin starboard/aft was large with an extended non overlooked balcony. it was clean spacious with a lovely touch of Champagne and Chocolates, a welcome return of dressing gowns and
