Any experience with Primus Bank?
I am ready to ditch Chase and go with an interest bearing checking account as my primary checking (and savings) account. I'm seriously considering Primus.
https://primisbank.com/personal-checking/
Does anyone have any experience with Primus, good or bad?
Any other recommendations, if not Primus? Looking for high interest rate (Primus is 5.07 APY). Free ATMs. Free checks (preferred). Should I be looking for any other features?
Thanks!

Looks good to me.Free incoming wire, too. I don't suppose they charge for ach. I think I get near that rate at fidelity, but I'm not sure it's fdic insured.

Re: Any experience with Primus Bank?
@ptatohed Here is a link with reviews of Primus Bank
https://www.depositaccounts.com/banks/reviews/primis.html
ACH limits inbound and outbound is mentioned in one review. I would check that before proceeding to far down the road.
I currently use Ally bank due to the ACH limits and have no complaints. The customer service is fine and it is 24/7. US based to my knowledge. I would have used a credit union but the ACH limits was factor. If I was going to do it again. I would put most the savings in Vanguard then have some in the credit union. I would link Vanguard and credit union to move money back and forth.

Re: Any experience with Primus Bank?
I've heard good things and wanted to do the same. I tried to join recently but was denied for too many chex inquiries. I'm a bank bonus churner though, so you shouldn't have any problems getting in.
They are super fraud sensitive for new accounts, so be weary of the velocity or amount of transfers.

Re: Any experience with Primus Bank?
Ach limits might be a factor. Fidelity is $100,000 push, $250,000 pull, $10 min. Chase is $10,000/$10,000. Both enough for me. Some are as low as $2500, which might be a problem.
Chase will link 25 accounts, fidelity seems unlimited. Most banks have small limits, 4-5. That's a nuisance, specially if you want to directly link multiple accounts at several banks. I recently noticed that robin hood only allows 3, but they do allow immediate transfer in with a debit card.
The ach 1-3 day delay is bothersome. There is same day ach, but I only have us b that offers it, and it takes two to tango.

Alright, WTH, I went for it tonight. I opened the 5.07% checking and slid $1000 into it.

Thanks Fico. I like that a lot. I just don't know how I could ever do 15 POS's per month!
