Where is the best place to sit in the Amalie Arena? ›

East section 116 and 115 had great view ( see photo of view of artist from section 116) and great ticket price. East side of arena is less crowded than west because most people enter on west side. Food area is less crowded too.

The Amalie Arena has 19,758 seats for NHL games, 20,500 seats for basketball games, and up to 21,500 seats for concerts and center stage events.

You may be asked to present your ticket stub (physical or mobile) to verify your seat location. In the event you lose your ticket stub, the ticket office may or may not be able to replace it. Umbrellas are permitted in AMALIE Arena. They need to be closed and placed under your seat.

If your top priority is sound, consider middle central seating. Surfaces towards the front, back and sides of the venue can break up the acoustics, especially by walls.

Despite the price, seats situated near the halfway line are usually the first to be sold as they usually belong to season ticket holders, or those in hospitality, as they are considered the very best seats in a football stadium.

That would depend on the act - I don't believe there is a limit although most concerts last 1.5-2 hours for the headliner and 45 mins to 1 hour for the opening act with some time in between. I don't believe there is any difference at the Amalie Arena vs. other venues around the state and country.

Door opening times may vary depending on the type of event, typically 60-90 minutes before show time. Normally doors will open for a Tampa Bay Lightning game 60 minutes prior to the start of the game.

We were at Amalie Arena for a concert and the indoor temperature was not bad at all. We were expecting it to be a little colder because, after all, the arena is normally used for ice hockey. For a concert, jeans, a long-sleeved shirt, and closed toe shoes should be fine. We saw people wearing virtually everything.

AMALIE Arena is named after the locally family-owned and operated AMALIE Oil company. AMALIE is pronounced AM-uh-lee and rhymes with family.

The arena is owned by Hillsborough County and leased to the Tampa Sports Authority. The authority leases the arena back to the Lightning, who operate it. The current lease agreement ties the arena to the Lightning ownership.

The arena is kept between 55-60 degrees and dehumidifiers maintain 55-58 percent relative humidity. Jesso said Florida's climate makes humidity a bigger issue for the ice crew. “It's easier to lower the temperature than get rid of the humidity,” Jesso said.

I carefully checked the prohibited items list prior to attending (including a check before this review) and nowhere on the arena's website states that vaping devices are prohibited. They do however allow tobacco products and lighters inside.

The Liberty stadium has an all-seated capacity of 20,532. The clubs main stand is off to the visiting supporters right in the west stand. There are no bad seats in this stadium and every section has a completely unobstructed view of the action. The more vocal fans sit in the east stand toward the north end.

The best seats for a Tampa Bay Rays game are located in the Home Plate Club or the Whitney Bank Club. Any seats around the infield will offer great views of the game, and loyal Rays fans (a few of them) will tell you that even the nosebleed seats offer great views.
